{"id":19241,"date":"2020-07-31T10:00:42","date_gmt":"2020-07-31T10:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swiss-stem-cells-science.ch\/autism-3\/"},"modified":"2024-03-13T10:14:18","modified_gmt":"2024-03-13T10:14:18","slug":"lautisme-et-les-cellules-souches-du-cordon-ombilical","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sscb-stembiotech.ch\/fr\/news\/lautisme-et-les-cellules-souches-du-cordon-ombilical\/","title":{"rendered":"L\u2019autisme et les cellules souches du cordon ombilical"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019<strong>autisme<\/strong>, ou\u00a0<strong>troubles du spectre autistique<\/strong>\u00a0(TSA), est un trouble du\u00a0<strong>d\u00e9veloppement<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>neurologique<\/strong>\u00a0caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par des difficult\u00e9s de communication et de socialisation, un comportement r\u00e9p\u00e9titif, des int\u00e9r\u00eats et des activit\u00e9s limit\u00e9es, et touche environ\u00a0<strong>1 \u00e0 2 % de la population<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Les causes de cette affection n\u2019\u00e9tant pas encore claires, l\u2019autisme est aujourd\u2019hui trait\u00e9 principalement par des plans nutritionnels et comportementaux, en plus de l\u2019utilisation de m\u00e9dicaments, visant \u00e0\u00a0<strong>am\u00e9liorer<\/strong>\u00a0ou \u00e0\u00a0<strong>encourager<\/strong>\u00a0les\u00a0<strong>attitudes<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>comportementales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, plusieurs\u00a0<strong>\u00e9tudes<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>scientifiques<\/strong>\u00a0se concentrent sur cette condition, en utilisant la\u00a0<strong>th\u00e9rapie<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>cellulaire<\/strong>\u00a0comme traitement de l\u2019autisme. Il s\u2019agit notamment d\u2019\u00e9tudes cliniques men\u00e9es par le\u00a0<strong>Dr Johanne Kurtzberg<\/strong>, professeur du Department of Pediatrics \u00e0 la Duke University School of Medicine du Norh Carolina, qui \u00e9tudie le potentiel des\u00a0<strong>cellules<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>souches<\/strong>\u00a0extraites du\u00a0<strong>sang<\/strong>\u00a0et du\u00a0<strong>tissu<\/strong>\u00a0du\u00a0<strong>cordon<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>ombilical<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leurs\u00a0<strong>propri\u00e9t\u00e9s r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrices<\/strong>, les cellules souches du cordon ombilical sont capables de lib\u00e9rer des\u00a0<strong>facteurs<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>de<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>croissance<\/strong>\u00a0qui induisent la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de nouvelles cellules et de nouveaux tissus, et contribuent \u00e9galement \u00e0 la\u00a0<strong>neuro-r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration<\/strong>. En particulier, l\u2019\u00e9tude\u00a0<em>Duke ACT<\/em>\u00a0a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue par le Dr Kurtzberg et son \u00e9quipe pour confirmer que les\u00a0<strong>perfusions autologues<\/strong>\u00a0(autod\u00e9riv\u00e9es)\u00a0<strong>de cellules souches<\/strong>\u00a0de cordon ombilical am\u00e9liorent les principaux troubles de l\u2019autisme, tels que le dysfonctionnement de la communication, de l\u2019attention et de la connectivit\u00e9 c\u00e9r\u00e9brale en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude a port\u00e9 sur\u00a0<strong>180 enfants<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e2g\u00e9s de 2 \u00e0 7 ans, r\u00e9partis entre la th\u00e9rapie cellulaire et le traitement placebo, avec des\u00a0<strong>cellules souches de cordon autologues<\/strong>\u00a0(autod\u00e9riv\u00e9es) et\u00a0<strong>allog\u00e9niques<\/strong>\u00a0(provenant d\u2019un donneur compatible) pour ceux qui n\u2019avaient pas les leurs. L\u2019\u00e9tude de\u00a0<em>Duke Act<\/em>\u00a0a montr\u00e9 des\u00a0<strong>r\u00e9sultats tr\u00e8s encourageants<\/strong>\u00a0pour le sous-groupe d\u2019enfants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 4 \u00e0 7 ans qui ont re\u00e7u un traitement par cellules souches du cordon. Des\u00a0<strong>am\u00e9liorations significatives<\/strong>\u00a0de la\u00a0<strong>communication<\/strong>, du\u00a0<strong>suivi<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>des<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>mouvements<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>oculaires<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>attention<\/strong>) et des\u00a0<strong>scanners<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>du<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>cerveau<\/strong>\u00a0ont \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9es chez ces enfants.
