class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Oltre alla classificazione per capacit\u00e0 differenziativa, le cellule staminali si distinguono anche in base alla loro <b>origine biologica<\/b>.<\/p><p><b>Cellule staminali embrionali (ESC)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 derivate dalla massa cellulare interna della blastocisti (5\u20137 giorni dopo la fecondazione), sono pluripotenti. Non vengono utilizzate nella pratica clinica per questioni etiche e regolatorie.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Cellule staminali perinatali<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 raccolte dal <\/span><b>cordone ombelicale<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e dalla <\/span><b>placenta<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> subito dopo la nascita. Sono una risorsa irripetibile, disponibile una sola volta nella vita, gi\u00e0 oggi impiegata nei trapianti di cellule ematopoietiche e in numerosi studi clinici.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Cellule staminali adulte<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 si trovano in vari tessuti dell\u2019organismo (es. midollo osseo, sangue periferico, tessuto adiposo). Sono meno versatili delle embrionali, ma fondamentali per la rigenerazione quotidiana dei tessuti.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Cellule staminali pluripotenti indotte (iPSC)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 scoperte nel 2006 dal premio Nobel Shinya Yamanaka, derivano dalla riprogrammazione di cellule adulte (es. linfociti del sangue periferico, PBMC). Sono oggi al centro di una rivoluzione scientifica perch\u00e9 permettono di ottenere cellule pluripotenti senza ricorrere a embrioni, con applicazioni in ricerca, farmacologia e medicina personalizzata.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bc3d388 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"bc3d388\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;jet_parallax_layout_list&quot;:[]}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-99712f1 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"99712f1\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;jet_parallax_layout_list&quot;:[]}\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2c7f901 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2c7f901\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Perch\u00e9 sono cos\u00ec importanti?<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a38fbc2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a38fbc2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Le cellule staminali non sono soltanto un concetto biologico: rappresentano gi\u00e0 oggi una <strong>risorsa clinica concreta<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>Oggi<\/strong>: pi\u00f9 di 80 patologie del sangue e del sistema immunitario (leucemie, linfomi, talassemia, immunodeficienze congenite) possono essere trattate con trapianti di cellule staminali ematopoietiche, provenienti dal midollo osseo o dal sangue cordonale.<\/p><p><strong>Domani<\/strong>: la ricerca apre nuove frontiere in <strong>cardiologia<\/strong> (riparazione del muscolo cardiaco dopo infarto), <strong>neurologia<\/strong> (ictus, Parkinson, malattie neurodegenerative), <strong>oncologia<\/strong>, <strong>ortopedia<\/strong>, <strong>malattie autoimmuni e metaboliche<\/strong>.
